About Lucy
I have ten years of tutoring experience in all areas of English, including 11+, Common Entrance, GCSE and A Level. I have 100% success rate with 11+ and Common Entrance and am experienced in coaching students for schools such as Dulwich College, St Paul's, Eton, Westminster and Harrow. I am fully qualified in teaching English as an additional language and experienced in preparing students for IELTS and Cambridge exams, as well as supporting students entering the British school system. I have taught students for several years, developing long-lasting relationships with families, as well as plenty of short-term, intensive exam preparation for GCSE and A Level.
I am warm and friendly and adept at creating a relaxed learning environment which is both supportive and challenging. My theatre background means that I am creative in my thinking and I tailor each session to the student's individual needs.
Alongside my tutoring work I am currently studying for an MA at the University of Nottingham and also work as a professional actor and storyteller.
