About Adam
Born and raised in Los Angeles, music has always been a huge part of my life. After graduating from LACHSA I moved to New York City earning a BFA from New School University for Jazz and Contemporary Music. I'm currently in the final stages of completing my Masters Degree in Music Education and very excited to implement to knowledge gained during the journey.
Having been home for several years, teaching is an important part of my artistry. The intersection of performance and instruction has always been a valued part of my career and Im always excited at the prospect of helping students reach goals, no matter what capacity they decide to pursue.

My diverse experience spans public schools, non-profit organizations, universities, freelance performance, and private instruction, all of which have fueled my commitment to fostering student success. I’m currently finishing my M.A. in Music Education with the intention of impacting young musicians lives. My masters thesis project is on the intersection of Flow state and music education in order to help students attain optimum experience in all aspects of their practice and performance, creating an individualized and ritualistic learning process.
I truly love to teach and aspire to impact students as my mentors influenced me.
I specialize in working with ages 10-17 but have worked with students of all ages.
