About Jacqueline

After Drama School I went on to Central to study for a PGCE in Drama and have Qualified Teacher Status and a Masters in Educational Leadership. I also have a degree in English Literature.

I have over twenty five years of experience in education as a Drama Teacher, Director, Acting Coach and as a Senior Leader in British and International schools. I am skilled at working with students from KS2 - KS5 in acting and performance as well as in with older students and teaching and coaching adults.

I specialise in developing confidence in and through acting and coaching.

I was Head of Guildhall School of Music & Drama’s Guildhall Young Artists Centre in Norwich, and am registered on LAMDA’s Directory of Tutors.

About the lesson

It’s about enjoying the learning process together and making sure you feel listened to and supported and that we are focused on what you would like to achieve.

The best lessons are relaxed and fun whilst being purposeful and ambitious. I always want students to feel safe to challenge themselves and explore the work and their potential creatively, whilst building confidence in themselves as people and performers, whatever level they are working at.

With public speaking being so daunting to most people, as well as coaching drama and acting, I enjoy helping young people and adults of all ages to develop confidence in developing their presentation and public speaking skills.

I am also experienced in preparing candidates for interviews for schools, (including scholarships), sixth form, universities or jobs.

I can help you prepare for a one off performance or presentation or challenge or work on a longer term project or series of lessons.

I am able to work online or in a public location in Norwich and am regularly trained in Safeguarding, have DBS clearance and am an experienced DSL.
