About Dr Noel
I have been a writing coach and mentor for almost twenty-five years. I hold a First Class Hons in English, an MA in Creative Writing, and a PhD in Philosophy in the field of Creative Writing. I have optioned several feature screenplays, written for print and online magazines, and worked with many writers as an editor and ghostwriter. I have taught Creative Writing with Oxford University where I designed and delivered classes on Memoire and Biography, Script Writing, Novel Writing and Screenwriting. I am the founder of OAL - Creative Writing Org, and the course designer for Immersive Tales across the UK. Right now I am travelling across Europe while I complete a nonfiction book, and I continue mentoring writers in many fields, helping them achieve their creative goals.

I work closely with writers to help them achieve their creative goals. This might be long or short form projects across any medium, but the process is always pedagogical in nature. We work as a team exploring the various narrative devices available to a writer such as structure, voice, narrative point of view, plot arc, and style. I have worked closely with writers who are completing a novel, or beginners who are hoping to learn about the craft. I have been teaching in this field for almost twenty -five years and I love the process of getting to know and help aspiring writers. It is a personal journey and very fulfilling for both parties. I am fortunate enough to have experience in multiple genres and mediums, so I feel confident I can help any aspiring writer achieve their creative goals and grow through dedicated practice and attention to the craft.
