About Xenia
I have been giving piano lessons part-time over the past 10 years, and I love seeing my pupils achieve their individual goals. I am DipABRSM qualified in both performance (with distinction) and teaching.
The piano is a wonderful and versatile instrument. I still enjoy the learning process myself – this fantastic instrument will keep you entertained and occupied for the rest of your life!

I aim to provide a well-rounded approach, equipping students with a good foundation in the musical and technical skills that will enable them to enjoy this wonderful instrument for the rest of their life.
I am enthusiastic and like to make my lessons fun, tailoring my materials and plans to each individual. I cater to all ages, though I am especially experienced in working with children and young people. I can prepare you for ABRSM exams if desired, and have had many successful students previously. I cover all aspects of this including sight-reading and aural musicianship – both of which are great transferable skills to enhance your musical life overall!
Now I am currently available for home-based visits in the Leeds area where I will come to you to deliver lessons. I adhere to strict hygiene standards and adopt my teaching style for socially distant learning.
