About Yarn
I am an enthusiastic ESL tutor with 6 years of experience teaching High School and College students. During this time, I have had the pleasure of teaching between 150 and 200 students, helping them strengthen their English skills and reach their academic goals.
I am deeply passionate about education because I believe learning English can unlock many opportunities. My lessons focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking. I strive to make classes interactive and enjoyable so that students feel confident and motivated to learn.
A significant milestone in my career has been seeing students who once struggled to speak English now communicate fluently and confidently. Many have improved their grades and participated actively in presentations and discussions.
I adapt my teaching methods to suit each student’s learning style and pace. My mission is not only to teach English but also to inspire students to believe in themselves and achieve their full potential.

My ESL teaching methodology is practical, interactive, and student-focused. I use real-life examples and case studies such as workplace discussions, interviews, travel situations, and daily conversations to make lessons relevant and meaningful. Students practise speaking, listening, reading, and writing through interactive exercises and role plays.
Motivation is essential in my teaching. I provide positive reinforcement, set clear goals, and celebrate progress to build confidence. When students face difficulties, I use problem-solving strategies to simplify concepts and provide additional practice. Integrity is central to my approach, and I offer honest, constructive feedback.
Flexibility allows me to adapt lessons according to each student’s learning style and pace. In addition to ESL, I teach spoken English, academic writing, business communication, and grammar improvement.
