About Sol
I am a Graphic Designer that worked for the State of Washington as a Certified Interpreter for many agencies, including state court, Social Services.
I worked as a Bilingual Paraeducator for the Vancouver Public School District in Washington helping a deaf student learn English and Math through art, visualization, and kinetic experiences
I created a class called "Graphic Design & Branding Exploration" and taught it (before COVID) at the St Andrew's Nativity School in Portland, OR for middle-schoolers

As an artist and an ESL speaker myself, I learned that learning is multidimensional and multisensorial. I use a lot of visual aids, include lots of pop culture-relatable examples to ensure that the student truly comprehends (and likes!) the material taught.
