About German
Having more than 7 years of teaching experience, I have worked teaching English courses to teenagers, young adults, and professional people, including online classes via Zoom. I worked for 5 years teaching university students in Colombia, and I have taught at language institutes, military bases, and at some corporations in the Montreal region. I have also taught Spanish, and German classes online via Zoom.

I promote the development of listening and reading comprehension skills based on topics of general and common interest to the students. I introduce the new vocabulary using examples used in a communicative context. I provide training to help students shape target pronunciation and fluency, and I help them make progress in their written production as well. I assess their learning progress and offer positive encouragement and reinforcement to keep them focused and motivated. I also provide them with extra class activities and links to fun interactive resources that support autonomous learning and further language practice. For this purpose, I research, adapt a variety of resources to enable the students to comprehend and retain the concepts and the target language for each lesson.
