I am an established teacher who has been in the same school district for the past 23 years. I have experience in assessing students' strengths and weaknesses and the ability to come up with lessons to address them. I also have always had a great rapport with my students.

Once I get the opportunity to know the learning styles of my student, I adapt my lessons to meet their needs. My main area of expertise is Elementary Math grades 1-5, especially fact fluency and work with fractions.
I typically start off my math lesson with some type of warm-up to get the students engaged in the math instruction. After that I follow the I Do, We Do, You Do method. I give a mini-lesson, guided practice, independent practice and then some type of formative assessment to check for understanding.
