I’m a dedicated science and chemistry teacher with several years of experience teaching students aged 11 and up, primarily in online and blended learning environments. With a strong background in chemistry and a qualification in secondary science education, I deliver engaging and accessible lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum, covering key topics such as atomic structure, chemical reactions, energy changes, and organic chemistry. I also prepare students for GCSEs, A-levels, and international exams including the International Baccalaureate.
Understanding that students learn in different ways, I use a wide range of digital tools and teaching methods to suit varied learning styles. My lessons often include interactive simulations, visual explanations, video demonstrations, and problem-solving activities to replace traditional hands-on experiments, making scientific concepts clear and engaging even in a virtual setting. I also encourage and support independent learning through structured resources and guided tasks.
I aim to create a supportive, inclusive online classroom where students feel confident to ask questions, explore ideas, and learn from mistakes. I regularly offer one-to-one support, online discussion forums, and virtual revision sessions to ensure everyone stays on track. Whether introducing younger students to the basics or guiding older learners through advanced content, I’m passionate about making science meaningful and inspiring.
