About Pia
My journey with piano began in early childhood and evolved into formal study culminating in a Master of Music in Piano Pedagogy. This academic experience allowed me to explore advanced technique, interpretive analysis, and structured teaching methodologies. Over 11 years of teaching, I have guided students through progressive development that balances discipline with inspiration.
I value patience, attentiveness, and individualized instruction. Every learner progresses differently, so I adapt explanations and exercises to match their needs and strengths. My teaching emphasizes consistent technical refinement while encouraging emotional connection to repertoire.
Outside lessons, I remain engaged in performance collaborations, score study, and continued pedagogical research. These experiences enrich my teaching and keep my approach evolving.
