About Jas
Hi! My name is Jaskirat, and I am a first-year university student at the Schulich School of Business. My passion for teaching began at home, where I often help my younger sibling with math and other subjects. Seeing them work through challenges, gain confidence, and finally understand concepts that once felt difficult showed me how rewarding it is to support someone’s learning journey.
Over time, I have also found myself helping friends and their siblings who need extra support with math. I enjoy breaking down difficult concepts into simpler steps and finding different ways to explain ideas until they make sense.
I believe that every student learns differently, and having the right support can make a big difference in how they view math. My goal is to create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, build their skills, and become more confident in their abilities.

I believe math is best learned through understanding concepts rather than memorizing steps. My goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel confident asking questions and improving their skills.
My lessons are personalized to each student's needs and learning style. A typical lesson includes reviewing previous concepts, explaining new ideas step-by-step, and practicing problems together using clear examples and different strategies.
What sets me apart is my patience, adaptability, and ability to explain concepts in a simple and relatable way. I aim to make math less stressful while helping students build confidence and strengthen their skills in algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
My lessons are designed for elementary and middle school students who want extra support and guidance in math.

I saw her post and knew immediately that she was the one. My kids have a hard time learning, and I have tried various other teachers, but somehow Jas was able to manage them and teach them so patiently. She has a very reasonable price too! It's below the market range. She seems very dedicated and truly someone to choose.
Truly amazing. She has been tutoring me for about a month, and my math grade has increased by 15%. I'm so greatful I chose her as my math tutor. Very calm and patient, with amazing techniques.
