About Anya
With 14 years of experience as a flute tutor, I have trained around 150 students across different age groups and skill levels. I am passionate about making music learning easy and enjoyable for everyone.
My teaching style focuses on clear communication and flexibility. I design lessons based on each student’s goals and pace. I emphasise strong basics such as breathing, posture, fingering, and tone development.
I also include creative elements like simple improvisation and musical exercises to make lessons more engaging. This helps students stay interested and develop their musical skills naturally.
One of my key strengths is creating a comfortable and positive learning environment. I guide students step by step and help them build confidence. I also support them with music theory and listening skills.

I follow an adaptive and collaborative teaching approach for flute, supported by flexibility and a positive mindset. My aim is to make learning engaging and effective.
I focus on building strong fundamentals such as breathing techniques, tone quality, and finger coordination. These are essential for mastering the flute.
Flexibility allows me to tailor lessons according to the student’s pace. Collaboration is encouraged through interactive learning and creative exercises.
I maintain a positive environment where students feel encouraged to improve. I also include music theory and rhythm training for complete musical development.
