About Kendra
Hello! I'm a passionate and dedicated Texas educator with classroom teaching experience and a genuine love for helping students discover their full academic potential. As a middle school mathematics teacher, I understand firsthand that every student learns differently and that academic success begins with patience, encouragement, and instruction tailored to individual needs.
I offer personalized tutoring for Kindergarten through 8th-grade students in Mathematics, English Language Arts and Reading (ELAR), Science, and Social Studies. My classroom experience has given me a strong understanding of Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), grade-level expectations, effective instructional strategies, and the importance of building a solid academic foundation.
What sets me apart is my commitment to helping students understand the why behind what they are learning, rather than simply memorizing information or completing assignments. I take the time to identify learning gaps, explain challenging concepts in ways students can understand, and develop engaging lessons that build both academic skills and confidence.
I believe that every child is capable of learning, growing, and achieving success with the right guidance and support. Whether your child needs help catching up, strengthening foundational skills, preparing for assessments, or seeking additional academic challenges, I strive to create a welcoming, positive, and judgment-free environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
As both an educator and a parent, I understand how important it is for families to feel confident in the person supporting their child's education. I value professionalism, patience, open communication, and building trusting relationships with students and their families. I am committed to providing meaningful instruction, monitoring academic progress, and celebrating every milestone along the way.
My goal is simple: to help your child not only succeed in school but also develop the confidence, independence, and love of learning that will benefit them for years to come.
I look forward to helping your child grow, achieve their goals, and realize just how capable they truly are!

As a dedicated Texas educator, I believe every child has the potential to succeed academically when provided with personalized instruction, encouragement, and a supportive learning environment. My tutoring philosophy centers on meeting students where they are academically, identifying their individual strengths and challenges, and helping them develop the knowledge, confidence, and critical-thinking skills necessary for long-term success.
I provide individualized tutoring for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade in English Language Arts and Reading (ELAR), Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies. My goal is not simply to help students complete assignments or improve test scores, but to foster a genuine understanding of what they are learning and empower them to become confident, independent learners.
I recognize that no two students learn exactly the same way. My approach combines research-based instructional strategies, differentiated learning, hands-on activities, and positive reinforcement to create meaningful learning experiences tailored to each student's academic level, learning style, and individual needs.
