About Dheerata

Hi there,

I am Dheerata, from Florida, but born in Mauritius. I have 6 years of full-time experience teaching English and earned a Masters degree in English language . I'm a native French speaker and have taught students of all ages, including adults, college students, and high school students.

I know that learning a new language can be difficult; in fact, I've been a language learner myself! My mother tongue is Mauritian Creole and I can speak 3 more languages: Hindi, French and English. That's why I always try to create a safe, positive environment for my students to learn, take risks, and have fun.

I'm Teacher Dheerata - a Mauritian/American with 5+ years of experience teaching High School students English and French. I am a multilingual with native fluency in Mauritian creole, French, English and Hindi.
