I concentrate on teaching the basic techniques.
I work a lot on fitness along with neat presentation where one can connect with the audience through expressions, postures, hand gestures clear footwork.
Also before starting to teach any dance piece I mainly focus on my pupil knowing the history or meaning of that particular item.
To me it's important for one to know the taal raag and rasas.
