About Chloe

One thing I do know is how confusing all the terms and concepts can be when studying sociology. All the theorists and theories you need to understand for an exam can feel quite overwhelming. I remember that feeling quite distinctively because that was me not that long ago. But what I can say is after it 'clicked' I was able to understand sociology fully, started to enjoy it, and began to be proud of my work. If there is anything I can tell you is that you don't have to struggle alone I am here to help and trust me I went from getting C's in year 12 to consistent A/A* in my mocks and my A-levels.

About the lesson

In my session, we will establish what type of learner you are to maximise the tutor sessions whether you are a visual or auditory learner. Next, we would acknowledge areas that you need help with, breaking down all the 'grey areas' in your studies.

After establishing those factors, we can begin to go over content, and re-learning topics and you will be able to ask as many questions as you desire. To consolidate our learning essay plans, exam questions, and model answers will be looked at to put learning into practice. We would also look at mark schemes so we can establish what examiners are looking for.

A typical lesson would be a 1hr- 2hrs long to ensure all questions can be asked and you don't feel rushed.

I have A-level qualifications for Sociology and achieved an A*-level therefore, I am qualified to tutor for both A-level and GCSE Sociology.

My lessons would be for secondary kids (Years 10 and 11) and sixth formers (Years 12 and 13) struggling to understand Sociology and are willing to put in the work to achieve the grades!
