About Alec
I have been a student through IU for the last (as of writing this) year and a half, though only this semester was spent working on my major. In high school, I did theater for 3/4 years and choir for the same amount of time. In theater, I played Aladdin, Mr. Green (Clue), Mr. Warbucks (Annie), and a number of roles in other shows. I took music theory my senior year, and am in theory classes now. I was also in an All-State Choir that performed in New York City at Carnegie Hall. I took private lessons in both piano and voice for four years between the 7th and 10th grades, and I am back in both of those now as a college student.

I am open to working on music theory, vocal techniques, and other things with my students. I believe that anyone and everyone can become a talented musician with enough effort and practice! I want to work with my students on their needs right where it is that they are! Anything that I can do to help will be offered, and if I cannot figure it out, I'll reach out to people I know who can!
