About Juana Roberta Athena
I’m an experienced English writer and journalist with 7 years of experience in writing, editing, proofreading, and communicating ideas clearly.
I enjoy helping students improve their English writing skills, including grammar, spelling, vocabulary, sentence structure, and essay writing. My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and personalized to each student’s level and goals.
During my lessons, we focus on practical writing exercises, identifying mistakes, and learning how to improve them. Whether you need help with an essay, school assignment, grammar, or simply want to become more confident in English, I’m here to help.
With my journalism background, I can also teach students how to organize their ideas, write clearly, and develop their own writing style. My goal is to make learning English writing easier, more comfortable, and enjoyable.

My Teaching Method and Techniques
I believe that learning English writing should be clear, practical, and enjoyable. As a tutor, I focus on helping students improve their grammar, spelling, vocabulary, sentence structure, and overall writing skills. I adjust my teaching style based on each student’s level and learning needs. I also use examples, writing exercises, and constructive feedback to help students understand their mistakes and become more confident writers.
A Typical Lesson Plan
A typical lesson begins by identifying the student’s goals and reviewing any areas they find difficult. We then work on a specific skill, such as spelling, grammar, essay structure, vocabulary, or paragraph development. Students will practice through short exercises or writing activities, followed by feedback and corrections. We finish the lesson by reviewing what was learned and giving the student a simple task to practice independently.

What sets me apart is my 7 years of experience as an English journalist. My experience has helped me develop strong skills in writing, editing, proofreading, grammar, spelling, and communicating ideas clearly. I understand how to organize information and make writing easy to understand. I want to help students not only correct their mistakes but also develop their own voice and confidence as writers.
