About Mitra
For the past few years I have thoroughly enjoyed my time teaching music and especially provoking inspiration within students where there may have not been before.
My experience vastly covers theatrical music, classical, jazz, and contemporary within several varying combinations of ensembles and groups.
With this experience I can give insights to the standards of orchestras, skills used in group settings, on top of skills for solo players.
My passion lies in seeing others find their passion in music, so anyone passionate to even just try it out is welcome to my class.

Classes are informative, blending components of sight-reading, music theory and performance together to fully grasp the instrument.
Technique is critical to my teaching - I will often focus this firmly to enhance their ability for their own future learning.
A supportive learning environment is crucial, thus while feedback is important, the approach is always encouraging and friendly.
I can and have taught all ages, so don't feel shy to want to learn :)
