About Lauren
I grew up dancing and have always loved it. Dance is truly a place to express your emotions and to be a release when things get hard or stressful. I have done studio dance as well as competitions. I know practice and conditioning can be the less flattering aspects of dance, but they are so important! I wish I would’ve had someone to push me to do those things to improve my skills as a dancer. Having good technique is crucial to developing the muscles needed to do those awesome tricks we all know and love. Let me notice and encourage you to also be able to accomplish those things. I want my dancers to succeed so I push them hard, yet I still keep an encouraging and supportive approach. I am relatively laid back overall and although we’ll work hard well also have fun!

I have taught many different age groups and styles of dance whether that be recreational or competitive. I can really cater to whatever request your dancer has! I have choreographed dances for competitions, wrote routines for basketball/ other spirit events, I have also taught programs of training and strengthening those crucial skills. I have danced forever and have skills of ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and tap. I am super enthusiastic about dance as it can improve skills needed for life as well!
