About Ananya
As a graduate in Criminology and Sociology, one of my specialties is essay writing and presentations. The knowledge I acquired having completed all levels in Trinity Examinations, as well as taking the IELTS and SAT examinations, truly helped transfer over skills required for my degree, such as writing policy review papers, participating in Mock Trials, and more. I have been a part of a Toastmasters club that added to my proficiency in English.
I have experience in tutoring and helping children from elementary to middle school, and children with disabilities. I am patient and understanding, and care for my students' education, which helps deliver results and improvement beyond the requirements of school education, developing their soft skills in the process.

My teaching style adheres to helping individuals pick up on aspects of English they are not comfortable with and working through those areas by repetition and practice. A typical lesson plan would be tailored to the requirement of the student. For instance, if they require tutoring for a specific exam, we would go over what they are uncomfortable in, or what is needed to excel.
I truly believe practice is the key to strengthening one's knowledge, especially with English as a language. Being an international student, I understand the struggles that one may come across with the language and am committed to helping my students improve and build on their skills and confidence in the subject.
I can tutor all ages, from elementary to high school, and those who plan to prepare for English proficiency examinations such as IELTS or TOEFL. I have completed all levels in Trinity Communications and can help and provide the necessary tools required for any level in Trinity Examinations.
