About Lemisa

I am a graduate from NYU, where I completed my entire bachelor’s degree in English within a highly international community. I speak English, Albanian, and Turkish, and I am currently learning Spanish. Languages fascinate me because each time I speak another language, I feel like a new person! Plus, the treat of being able to talk to people of another country is also just irresistible.

My relationship with English is especially meaningful. As a child, I found it difficult and struggled to learn through traditional classroom methods. Everything changed when I discovered more creative approaches involving pictures, stories, songs, apps, and consistent practice. Eventually, English became the language of my high school and university education and one of my greatest passions.

I want to teach because I would love to give others the encouragement I once needed. My goal is to help students replace self-doubt with curiosity, confidence, and genuine enjoyment. As your tutor, I will listen carefully to your goals, prepare thoughtfully, and adapt each lesson to your level and learning style. You can expect a patient, dependable, and professional tutor who takes your progress seriously while making the process feel alive and enjoyable.

About the lesson

My lessons are creative, encouraging, and personalised around your interests and goals. I combine real conversation with vocabulary challenges, stories, songs, pictures, flashcards, and quizzes to make English enjoyable and memorable. I value the enjoyment of learning as much as learning, so I got you covered!

Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although shorter sessions can be arranged for younger learners. I teach children, teenagers, and adults from beginner to advanced level, especially those who want to expand their vocabulary, speak more naturally, and feel confident expressing themselves in English. I’m a true lover of English vocabulary, with countless creative ways to fill your dictionary pocket in a way that will make you feel confident about your English and make you want to learn even more...

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from New York University, completed entirely in English. I also created an online club where students worked toward learning 1,000 sophisticated SAT English words through daily practice, weekly quizzes, and rankings. As someone who once struggled with English and later studied entirely in it, I understand how to help learners move from doubt to genuine confidence.
