About Cameron
I am a Counselling Psychologist with over 12 years of experience studying and applying psychology to practice. I started tutoring over three years ago when I was offered an opportunity to teach English to resettled refugees in the USA. I developed my love of teaching from this point and have since worked in a United Nations refugee camp teaching English, psychology, and mindfulness as well as in high schools preparing students for university.
Through my many years of studying and learning, I have developed excellent study skills that have helped me to achieve high marks. As a tutor, I wish to impart these skills on those who wish to develop their knowledge of psychology and improve their study habits.

My teaching method is founded on a person-centred model where I believe the client is the expert of what they need. Therefore, I work collaboratively with the student to understand their goals and to develop lesson plans based on my knowledge and experience that suits their schedule and their educational requirements. Finally, I greatly encourage open and honest feedback regarding the student's progress to make sure we are progressing in line with the students' goals.
