About Uthu

I am a dedicated piano tutor with 7 years of experience teaching high school students, college students, and adults. I have successfully taught around 300 students, helping them develop technical skills, musical understanding, and confidence in their playing.

My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, clarity, and personalized learning. I believe each student learns differently, so I adapt lessons to their pace, goals, and interests. I aim to make learning piano structured, enjoyable, and motivating.

In my classes, I emphasize posture, hand technique, finger coordination, rhythm, sight-reading, and basic music theory. I also guide students to express emotion through music and connect techniques with real songs.

One of my key achievements is helping beginners become confident performers and supporting adult learners returning to piano after a break. Many students have shown consistent improvement under my guidance.

My goal is to provide a supportive and inspiring learning environment where students feel motivated to practice and enjoy piano. I strive to help every student reach their musical potential.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for piano focuses on strong communication, patience, and practical learning. I believe students learn music best when lessons are explained clearly and calmly. I begin by understanding the student’s goals, interests, and learning style, then plan lessons that match their pace and ability.

I adapt my teaching methods using demonstrations, listening activities, and hands-on practice. Real-life examples such as popular songs, daily practice situations, and performance experiences are used to help students understand how piano skills are applied in real life. Case studies of experienced pianists help students stay motivated and inspired.

Along with piano playing, I teach music theory, scales, chords, rhythm training, sight reading, ear training, and basic harmony. Students also learn correct posture, finger technique, and effective practice habits. My goal is to help students enjoy piano learning while developing strong musical foundations.
