About Nolan
I enjoy helping college students discover how rewarding it can be to learn the piano. With 14 years of teaching experience, I create lessons that are simple, engaging, and focused on helping students improve with confidence. I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance and regular practice.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and interactive. I explain every concept in simple English and demonstrate each technique step by step so students can understand and apply it easily. I encourage students to ask questions and enjoy the learning process.
I use innovative teaching methods such as digital piano tools, rhythm exercises, ear training, visual demonstrations, and personalized practice plans. These methods make learning more enjoyable while helping students build strong musical skills.
Students learn note reading, scales, chords, finger coordination, posture, rhythm, dynamics, and musical expression. I provide regular feedback, practical advice, and customized practice routines to help students become confident and independent piano players.

My teaching style combines practical learning with personal attention. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons according to their abilities and goals. Whether someone is learning for fun, school, church, performances, or personal development, I provide lessons that are easy to understand and enjoyable.
Real-life examples and case studies help students connect music with everyday life. I explain rhythm through simple daily activities and teach music theory using songs students enjoy. Practical learning helps students understand concepts naturally instead of memorizing them.
Understanding is my highest priority. I patiently explain every topic until students feel confident. Lessons move at a comfortable pace, allowing students to develop strong musical skills without pressure.
Communication is open and friendly. Students receive clear instructions, demonstrations, and regular feedback. I encourage them to ask questions and build confidence through continuous improvement.
Integrity guides my teaching. I believe in honesty, professionalism, and respect for every learner. Along with piano, I also teach keyboard, music theory, ear training, sight reading, improvisation, rhythm exercises, scales, chords, and beginner music composition. My aim is to help students become confident musicians who enjoy learning throughout their lives.
