About Widad

I am 19 years old and I have just finished my first year of computer science in university, however I was originally on the pathway of medicine. During the summer break, I continued to learn coding languages (I had previously taken GCSE computer science) and discovered that I truly had a passion for it. Thankfully my grades allowed for a smooth transition. I achieved eight 9s and one 8 in GCSE and an AAB in A-levels, with an A in AS Psychology and an EPQ.

About the lesson

My learning approach is based on understanding the three key questions; how, why, and when. How does this work? Why does it work this way? When does this occur/When would this method be implemented? And this works across Maths, Chemistry and Biology. After the core knowledge is learnt, then we can build from there and go into exam questions. My lessons are anywhere between 45 mins to 2 hours, depending on the depth of the topics/the number of topics you want to cover. I have notes (stored digitally on my iPad) that I personally wrote and developed for myself that helped me during my exams and will be available to you. The lesson will always be dependent on your weaknesses. We’ll establish how best you learn; working through past paper exam questions and your overall understanding of the topic. Then we’ll try out revision methods such as posters, rewriting, flash cards, blurting etc…

I went to college with Widad and she has always been a diligent and efficient worker, she has always completed tasks on time which makes me believe that she is more than fit to be a tutor as she can multitask well - meaning that she will be able to mark the work of her tutees properly between each session.

She was always helping her friends revise, in a way tutoring them too, during a level exam season and helped them to achieve great marks. I myself have received academic support from her and noticed a considerable positive change in my exam results.

She is reliable and considerate, she takes her time in making sure that a topic is thoroughly understood.

I would 100% recommend her as a tutor.
