Hey there! I'm Ishika
1st Year CSE Student | Science & Math Tutor for School Students
I'm currently in my first year of Computer Science Engineering, and while I spend my college days coding and solving logic problems, I absolutely love breaking down math and science concepts and helping younger students actually understand what’s going on — not just memorize it.
Who I Teach:
| Elementary School (Classes 4–5) | Math + Science | Fun with numbers, simple physics, curiosity-based science |
| Middle School (Classes 6–8) | Math + Physics + Chemistry | Algebra, motion, atoms, electric circuits, acids & bases |
| High School (Classes 9–12) | Math + Physics + Chemistry | trigonometry, laws of motion, numericals |
How I Teach:
1. Explain Concepts Like I’m Your Study Buddy
I still remember how confusing textbooks can be. So I explain it the way I wish someone had explained it to me — using:
- Relatable examples (food, games, daily life stuff)
- Real-world analogies (gravity = invisible glue, electricity = water in pipes)
- Funny mnemonics and memory tricks (like PEMDAS pizza )
2. Focus on "Why" Before "What"
I don’t just say “this is the formula” — I walk you through why it works .
3. Make It Visual + Fun
I love drawing on digital whiteboards, sketching quick diagrams, and using simple animations to help visual learners.
(And yes, I sometimes relate things to Marvel or Minecraft if it helps )
A Typical Lesson Looks Like:
| Time | Activity |
| 0–5 min | Quick check-in, recap, warm-up question |
| 5–20 min | Concept explanation with examples |
| 20–35 min | Solved problems together (step-by-step) |
| 35–45 min | Student tries questions, I guide + correct |
| Last 5 min | Quick summary + doubts + fun quiz (optional) |
What Makes Me Different as a Tutor:
- I'm close in age, so I get what students struggle with — and I explain things in a chill, relatable way.
- I help build logic, not just memorization.
- ️ I use my CSE skills to teach how math connects to tech, coding, and real life.
- I customize every session — if you’re creative, we’ll draw; if you like challenges, I’ll gamify it.
- I'm patient, supportive, and totally okay if you need something explained 5 times — I’ve been there!
Subjects I Can Help With:
| Subject | Topics |
| Math | Numbers, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Probability, Coordinate Geometry |
| Physics | Motion, Force, Energy, Light, Sound, Electricity, Laws of Motion |
| Chemistry | Atoms, Molecules, Reactions, Periodic Table, Acids & Bases |
| Computer Basics | For curious students — I can also introduce coding (Scratch, Python basics, logic building) |
If you're a student who wants to finally “get” science and math, or a parent looking for someone who's young, tech-savvy, and explains things simply, I’d love to help!
