About Mihika
I am an experienced C programming tutor with over seven years of teaching students from school to college. During this time, I have successfully guided around 200 students, helping them gain confidence and mastery in programming. My focus is on making coding understandable, practical, and enjoyable for every learner.
I teach core concepts of C programming, including data types, loops, functions, arrays, pointers, file handling, and debugging. I also emphasise problem-solving skills, algorithmic thinking, and logical reasoning, so students can tackle both assignments and exams with confidence. My lessons often include real-world examples and hands-on exercises, making abstract concepts easier to grasp.
My teaching philosophy is built on empathy, flexibility, and communication. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my approach to meet individual needs. I encourage questions, foster creativity, and guide students to think critically about code. I also support them in explaining their ideas clearly and building confidence in programming.

I also include related subjects like algorithms, data structures, problem-solving strategies, and basic computational thinking to help students build a strong foundation in programming.
I use a flexible and interactive approach that adapts to each student’s pace and learning style. Lessons are structured yet relaxed, combining theory with hands-on coding exercises. I often use real-life examples and analogies to explain abstract concepts, helping students connect what they learn in class to practical applications. Creativity is encouraged, and I guide students to think critically when designing programs and solving problems.
Empathy and compassion are central to my teaching. I understand that learning programming can be challenging, so I patiently support students through difficult topics and encourage them to ask questions freely. Communication is key, and I make sure students feel confident explaining their thought processes and coding decisions.
My sessions emphasise learning by doing. Students work on assignments, mini-projects, and problem-solving exercises, which strengthen their coding skills and prepare them for exams or job-ready programming tasks. I guide them to debug effectively, optimise code, and write clean, maintainable programs.
