About Sawan

UK CAA CPL holder, RAFAC Civilian Instructor, and graduate of both the CAA and EASA ATPL theory syllabus. I have completed my commercial flight training including MEP, MEIR, CPL, AUPRT and APS-MCC

Alongside flying, I instruct within the RAF Air Cadets where I teach aviation fundamentals, flight simulator orientation, and support cadets through more advanced theory topics. I also assist senior cadets with aviation career guidance, CV workshops, and help coordinate flying opportunities with experienced RAF pilots.

My training has taken me through the full professional pilot pathway, allowing me to bring current, real-world insight into every lesson I deliver while helping students understand both the theory and practical realities of modern aviation.

About the lesson

How I teach: I have a predefined structure to my lessons, I like to explain each concept and theory in depth to solidify your understanding of the subject especially when it comes to calculations, physics and memorisation. I utilised my own material and checklists, the Pooley's APM books, slideshows and live diagrams. Why choose me: - Instant message me anytime with questions on subjects for fast replies. - Personalised study plans to hit your deadlines. - Options for group study sessions at discounts. - Referral programme.

I've known Sawan for a little under 8 years now. We studied for our pilots licenses at the same time but originally met at the RAFAC (Air cadets). Impressively he passed his PPL exam/check ride on his first attempt.

I've known him to be very well prepared and thorough in his knowledge, he's also excellent at explaining complex concepts and boiling them down into easy to understand ideas. I would highly recommend Sawan as your tutor.

I've known Sawan for over a decade, and it's extremely challenging finding the words to express just how highly I recommend him as a tutor and a person. He's kind, funny, intelligent, passionate, enthusiastic, friendly, patient, caring, trustworthy, and overall an incredible and genuine guy. I can't imagine anything but an overwhelmingly positive and successful experience receiving tutoring from him.
