Super tutor

Cassie is one of the best tutors in Drum. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Cassie

I am a writing, performing, and teaching musician based in Round Rock, Texas with over 25 years of musical experience. I've been drumming and playing percussion since 10 years old, performing live since 15, and teaching private lessons full time for 5 years. I hold a Bachelor's in Percussion Performance and an Associate's in Music Composition. When I'm not performing live on drum set or teaching lessons, I'm performing Mystic Drumz--a captivating international children's percussion show built for schools, daycares, libraries, parties and more.

About the lesson

I have the patience and experience to teach beginners of all ages, and the knowledge and skillset to help advanced drummers take their playing to the next level.

"Teach a man to fish...." I don't just show you how to play a drum beat. I give you the foundational knowledge and mindset to play fluidly and musically on the kit.

Lessons are well-rounded: Technique, chops, ergonomics, reading music, essential industry skills are all covered in ongoing lessons.

And your lessons don't end when our session is up-I am accessible by email and text throughout the week for follow up questions and guidance.

Let's get started!

My musical journey has flourished with the help of Cassie's lessons!! She is a talented musician with a passion for meeting her students where they're at to teach them something new. I'd recommend Cassie for music lessons in a heartbeat (or a quarter beat)!

I've known Cassie for more than 20 years and music has always been her passion. She's a skilled percussionist and talented teacher who can help a student feel the passion for music as much as learn proper technique. Would love for her to teach my daughter one day!
