About Eldon
Always had a strong passion for gaining knowledge in challenging subjects such as Mathematics. I love finding tricks that make solving interesting puzzles easier and always love imparting any nifty techniques to make other people's lives easier. Lessons aimed at year 10 and year 11 students who need help or just extra practice and consolidation of GCSE exam questions.
Achieved grade 9s in Math and in all three sciences in GCSE Triple Science, Higher.
Lessons can range from 45 minutes to 1 hour (But I am very flexible and available to do shorter or longer sessions if requested)
We will start by identifying which areas you want help in and need more attention on.
Then I will explain how to go about questions in that topic and the reasoning behind it.
I will do a guided practice on a typical past exam question whilst I explain why I am doing what I am doing.
I will also ask you questions on the topic to ensure your understanding.
Then I will ask you to do a past paper question while you explain to me your methodology and reasoning behind it.
We will then clear up any misconceptions and misunderstandings and repeat this until you feel confident with that topic.
We will then move on to a different topic you need assistance with and repeat the process.
