About Ishaun
I am a student pursuing a BFA in Dance at the Ailey School/Fordham University. I am a LACHSA alumnus, and have trained in various styles from ballet, modern, tap, hip-hop, contemporary, improv, and West-African. I have experience teaching age groups ranging from 3-15 years old, and am very passionate about providing dancers with the foundational skills that are necessary for a successful dance career/ experience.

My teaching method incorporates many styles of learning (auditory, visual, physical, verbal) to fit the needs of different students. I focus on giving my students foundational tools and making sure they understand and master specific concepts before moving onto more advanced movement. I love questions and encourage my students to be curious about concepts that are unfamiliar to them.
