About Rebecca
I have been teaching the Sign Language professionally for the past 5years now. I started out interpreting at events and meetings for the Christian Mission For The Deaf and other governmental bodies as far back as 2006 after which I was issued a Certificate as an eligible interpreter. We use audiovisuals and concrete objects pertaining to the topic being taught to make the class more interesting and more relatable. We also ensure practical tests/exams are done by students at the end of each level which certify their promotion to the next level. This exam is always done by one of our Deaf or Hard of Hearing tutor. This is mostly done to test students expressive and receptive signing ability.
