Steven is a respected tutor in our community. He is highly recommended for his commitment and the quality of his lessons. An excellent choice to progress with confidence.
About Steven
I have held post-doc positions in cognitive science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Aarhus University, and the University of Michigan. My PhD work was at Adelaide University, graduating in 2018. I hold degrees in both psychology and software engineering. Although I'm most comfortable with psychology/linguistics, the research methods toolkit I'm hoping to tutor in is used in a lot of other fields as well! Let's chat if you're interested in exploratory data analysis in R, common regression designs (maybe with some nesting?), or starting out with building your own custom models.

I just really like research methods and statistics. My background is psychology (cognitive science), where I've worked as a post-doc or research fellow for six years. I've found 'helping out with analysis problems' to be one of the most satisfying parts of the job, so I'm on superprof to see if I can help you out with yours!
Let's chat if you're interested in data exploration 101 in R, trying to get the most out of a regression, wondering why so many people are into bayes, or frustrated with a power analysis. No problem too large or small.

Perfect! Steven was great to work with. He made me feel comfortable asking all the dumb questions and was ready for anything I threw at him. I would use him as a tutor in the future and recommend him to anyone. I feel a lot more confident going into my exam!
Perfect! I can wholeheartedly recommend Steven as a tutor! Steven is very reliable in communication to organise lessons, explains complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand, has patience, commitment and a high level of knowledge.
