About Kit
I am studying Computer Science at Massey Uni. I am a 3rd-generation coder—I grew up immersed in technology and coding. I have been tinkering with code for 10 years and delving deep into coding for the last 4 years. I enjoy helping kids (from about age 10), teens, and adults grow their skills in coding and math.
I have NCEA Level 3 qualifications in Calculus, Computer Science, and Statistics.

I am happy to adjust my teaching style to your needs. For kids, teens, or adults with no prior experience, I use existing teaching platforms (such as Swift Playgrounds or Code.org) as a scaffold for teaching. I build from that strong foundation, providing step-by-step support to help learners feel comfortable and confident as they grow As confidence builds, I work to provide deeper insights into what’s actually occurring when you hit the run button and your code executes, helping you to develop a mental model that will allow you to ascribe meaning to your code (knowing how to read and understand your code) before you hit run and see it in action.
For teens or Uni students just trying to make it through classes, I would provide direct support in completing homeworks as well as building the foundational intuition necessary for success in your coursework.
