About Bradley

I’m a Law graduate from the University of Exeter and hold a Master’s in Corporate Law (LLM) from Durham University. I also passed the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) on my first attempt. I currently work as a trainee solicitor at a leading commercial law firm, where I sit in the private equity team. My experience has given me first-hand insight into the demanding recruitment process, as well as what top-tier firms are really looking for in strong candidates.

About the lesson

Are you aiming for a career in commercial law but unsure how to stand out in a highly competitive recruitment cycle? I offer personalised, 1-on-1 tuition to help you confidently navigate the journey to securing a training contract. I cover all key areas of the process: How to make your application stand out — structure, clarity, and firm-specific tailoring Developing and demonstrating real commercial awareness (not generic headlines) Understanding what top firms are really looking for — and how to deliver it Interview preparation — including commercial questions, situational judgement, and technical insight Strategy and timing across vac schemes, direct TC routes, and reapplications This is practical, actionable advice built on direct experience — not recycled internet guidance. ⸻ Who This Is For: • Law and non-law students applying to commercial law firms • Graduates reapplying after previous cycles • Anyone unsure how to improve feedback, stand out, or get over the interview/application hump ⸻ ️ Disclaimer All advice and guidance provided is based on my own personal experience successfully navigating the commercial law recruitment process. It is entirely independent of my current employer or any law firm. Participating in this coaching does not guarantee a training contract or job offer. The service is educational and advisory only.
