About Fathima

I am a patient, approachable, and dedicated tutor with around two years of private tutoring experience. I believe learning should be engaging, comfortable, and suited to each student’s individual needs. I simplify concepts, use relatable examples, and encourage students to ask questions and participate actively in class.

I also have internship experience in Special Education Support Services and Life Skills Education, which has helped me develop a better understanding of different learning needs and how to support children effectively.

I teach English to students from Grades 1–5, focusing on building strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, comprehension, and communication skills. My goal is not only to help students improve academically but also to make them feel more confident in using English.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centered, patient, and interactive. I focus on making lessons simple and engaging by breaking down concepts into smaller parts and using examples that students can easily relate to. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate rather than relying only on memorization.

I usually structure my classes with a short introduction or review of the previous topic, explanation of the new concept, interactive practice or activities, and a brief recap at the end. I adapt my teaching methods according to the student’s age, level, and individual learning needs.

As a teacher, I believe my strengths are my patience, clear communication, ability to connect with students, and willingness to adapt. My experience as a private tutor for around two years, along with my internship in Special Education Support Services and Life Skills Education, has helped me understand how different students learn.

My classes are mainly intended for school students, particularly Grades 1–5, and I aim to make learning English enjoyable while helping students build confidence in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and communication.
