About Natalia
I hold a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from Clemson University, where I also completed minors in Spanish and psychology. This interdisciplinary background has given me not only deep expertise in the sciences but also valuable insight into how students learn and process information differently. My tutoring experience spans nearly two years working with elementary students, where I developed patience and creativity in explaining foundational concepts, as well as extensive work with high school and college-level students tackling more advanced material. I have guided students through various subjects, helping them not just memorize formulas but truly understand the underlying principles. As a heritage speaker who also completed college-level Spanish coursework, I am fluent in Spanish and enjoy working with students at all proficiency levels, from beginners building vocabulary to advanced students refining grammar and conversation skills. My approach focuses on creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel safe asking questions and making mistakes, because I believe that's where real learning happens.

I am a tutor passionate about helping students navigate challenging subjects by adapting to their unique learning styles and building their confidence along the way.
I first like to assess the content a student wishes to work on, then learn more about what studying or learning methods have or have not worked in the past and work from there to build a digestible lesson.
My lessons are geared toward middle or high school students, and up to college level. My main subjects are biochemistry, organic chemistry, algebra, geometry, calculus, psychology, Spanish language, and biology.
