About Rae
I have taught music for nearly 10 years, in the classroom and private lessons. I have a Bachelor's in Vocal Performance and many years of stage experience, including musical theater and opera. As a Speech Pathology Major, I offer a unique understanding of the voice and how it works. We will tailor the lessons to your desired focus, with a goal of proper use of the voice and personal style.

Hello! I'm excited to offer online classical training in singing.
Lessons usually begin with breath warm ups and vocalizations. We will exercise the voice with piano warm-ups and pinpoint any techniques that seem relevant to your individual use of the voice. Next we will work on a song of your choice. If you need suggestions or educational guidance on what to sing, I have plenty of options for you, depending on your voice type and experience level.
If you are interested in basic music notation, reading, or understanding, we can work that into your lessons as you feel it is helping you become a better singer!
These lessons are most helpful for ages 10 and up.
