About Silvia

A little about me

I was born in Italy and lived there until I was 26, before moving to Australia — where I now live with my partner, who also happens to be my very first Italian student!

I know how important it can be to communicate with the people who become your family. And I know how much more meaningful travelling becomes when you can connect with locals, have a conversation and experience Italy beyond the tourist path.

I’ve travelled all over my motherland, from the Alps to the sea, and these are three of my favourite places:

Sardegna • Val Masino • Bologna

️ I love travelling and discovering new places
I make a pretty great tiramisù
I teach and practise yoga
I’ve hiked at 5,600 metres above sea level

And yes, I’ll probably find a way to bring Italian food, culture and travel into our lessons.
