About Rui
I am a Chinese student studying at the University of Sheffield. I love my home country and have been deeply interested in classical Chinese poetry and the richness of Chinese culture since I was a child. I am fluent in Mandarin without an accent; I am good at writing and expressing myself verbally in Chinese and have won a number of prizes in writing and speaking competitions in China; I enjoy reading Chinese books, both classical and modern, and watching Chinese films and dramas; I love to interact with people and am eager to make friends with people who love Chinese culture.

I can teach online/offline; Length of each lesson depends on the needs of the students, but ideally 45mins/1h; I have had the experience of teaching primary school students to write compositions in China; I'm not that professional since I'm not a pedagogical student, I'm just a normal Chinese who loves Chinese language and culture, so I can't be sure which age group is suitable to be taught by me, but I know I will do my best to have a friendly conversation with the student. If it's a younger student, as a primary school student, I can act more like a teacher; if it's a student around my age, maybe we can learn about Chinese culture in a friendly and cordial atmosphere.
