About Paul

- What kind of experience do you have?

I have been teaching on Chemistry and Science courses to 'A' level since 2000. I have recently returned to the UK after a two year period of teaching iGCSE science and mathematics and also A level Chemistry in two International Schools.I have also taught in a large school (one year), a Further Education College (one year) and a sixth form College (nine years). I have had Oxbridge success with several students.

Yes.

- Do you belong to any professional organisations?

The Royal Society of Chemistry.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

A2 and AS level Chemistry, Access Chemistry, GCSE Chemistry, Applied Science Units, BTEC Units. ALSO ON-LINE TUITION via SKYPE.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

I am a graduate of the Open University and studied the sciences whilst pursuing a career in management. I gained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education at the University of Greenwich full time, and am also a member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

- How much do you charge?

The fee for my lessons are: £25 p.h for 'A' level and Access and other level 3 courses; £25 p.h for GCSE and level 2 courses. Top up travel fees may be required. I ALSO TUTOR ON LINE VIA SKYPE at a rate of £25 per hour.

- Where do you teach?

At the moment I teach on line via skype.I am also resident in Ryde during Spring and Summer months when I can come to you anywhere on the Isle of Wight. I charge a small fee for costs incurred for distances travelled of more than five miles by car from Ryde. Alternatively if you prefer students can come to my home in Ryde.

- When are you available?

I tutor on line through the week in normal term times including evenings and weekends.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

Anyone who wishes to study the courses I teach.

- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?

A levels, Access, Applied Science, and GCSE

- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.

I tutor on-line via Skype for those I cannot visit in the normal way through time or distance restrictions.
