About Thea
I hold a B.Sc in Chemistry and an M.Sc in Physical Chemistry, with 13 years of experience teaching chemistry at secondary and higher-secondary levels. My academic background provided a strong balance of theoretical depth and practical understanding, allowing me to explain complex concepts in a clear and structured manner. My teaching style is calm, patient, and supportive. I focus on understanding each student’s challenges and adapting explanations to suit their learning pace. I believe confidence in chemistry grows when students clearly understand underlying principles rather than relying on memorization. Outside teaching, I stay engaged with chemistry through continuous study, curriculum development, and applied problem analysis. Teaching chemistry is rewarding because I see students gain clarity, confidence, and a structured approach to scientific reasoning that supports their overall academic development.

I emphasize balanced equations, reaction mechanisms, and logical problem-solving strategies, ensuring clarity and consistency in understanding.
Chemistry lessons also develop attention to detail, logical reasoning, and scientific thinking. Over time, students become more confident explaining reactions, solving numerical problems, and applying concepts accurately. My aim is to help learners feel capable and confident in chemistry.
