About Ewan

My interest in chemistry developed when I became curious about how substances react and transform in everyday life. This curiosity led me to pursue higher studies and complete a PhD in Chemistry, where I focused on advanced chemical processes and research-based learning. Over the past 12 years, I have guided students in understanding chemistry in a clear and structured way, helping them build strong knowledge and confidence step by step.

I focus on creating a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts. Beginners are guided with simple explanations and foundational concepts. Intermediate learners improve their understanding through structured practice and deeper exploration of reactions. Advanced students work on complex mechanisms, problem-solving, and application-based learning that strengthens their confidence and accuracy. I always adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s pace and needs.

Outside teaching, I stay engaged with research developments, new discoveries, and practical applications of chemistry. I enjoy bringing real-world examples into my lessons so students can understand how chemistry is used beyond textbooks. Watching students grow from confusion to clarity is very rewarding. My goal is to help students build strong understanding, critical thinking, and confidence in chemistry.
