About Jon
I have two degrees and a master's, but not everything is teaching here: I enjoy singing, playing the piano and guitar, and also multiple sports. I think having hobbies is very important, but sometimes I mix my hobbies with my work: I probably will show you how much songs and music in general can help you with the language development. I live in East London, moved here in 2015 from Spain, I am from Bilbao. I travel constantly, and people come to me asking for recommendations, I think I am around 40 countries so far, but the number grows every couple of months.

I have a passion for teaching and I am very lucky, because I can do that in school because I am head of Spanish in a lovely secondary school in East London. I am a native speaker, which helps, but I have been tutoring since 2010, so my experience will help you. I would suggest that lessons should range between 60 and 90 minutes once a week, twice a week if like many of my current tutees, you are a professional wanting to improve or even start your journey learning Spanish. Lessons are for all levels and ages, I currently have a couple of groups of Year 9-10 and 11, one group of Year 12s and then students that range from 24 to 56! Everyone is welcome! I provide everything. From physical materials to guidance on how to revise when you are not doing the lessons. I have to say that some of my students and I consider each other friends now, and I am truly blessed. Just try it, see how you like it.
