About Amy
I believe everyone can learn Spanish—and that it should feel joyful, not stressful. I teach using Comprehensible Input (CI) and TPRS because these methods focus on what really helps you acquire language: understanding messages, hearing lots of meaningful repetition, and connecting to content that makes you think, smile, or laugh. I create a safe, low-pressure space where mistakes are part of the process and curiosity leads the way. Whether we’re co-creating a story, chatting about your favorite show, or reading a text, my goal is always the same: help you feel successful, confident, and excited to keep learning Spanish.

Spanish doesn't have to be confusing or boring! I'm a certified Spanish teacher who specializes in working with beginning and intermediate students. I use Comprehensible Input (CI) and TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling)—methods that focus on listening to and reading Spanish you can actually understand. That means less memorizing, more real communication. In our sessions, we co-create stories, talk about fun topics, and use tons of visuals, gestures, and repetition so Spanish feels easy and sticks with you. Whether you're just starting or need a confidence boost, I’ll help you understand more, speak more, and enjoy the journey.
