About Maria

Teaching is my passion, I love to connect with my students and create a human approach to all my lessons. I want my students to feel comfortable in a safe learning environment. I see and analyze what is my student's best learning channel and from there I try to focus on their strengths and abilities to help them learn better and at their own pace. I also like to include humor and friendliness into my classes because it is important to laugh and feel relaxed while learning. I am very dedicated to my profession. I have a Master’s Degree in Education and a Diploma in Translation and Interpretation. I speak Spanish, English, and French and have lived in many countries. I love traveling, meeting new people, reading, and learning new things every day.

About the lesson

I will share all the materials you’ll need for the class. In each class, we’re going to practice speaking, learn grammar, and do fun activities like watching videos, listening to songs, reading texts, or playing games. It is a personalized class so we can focus on topics you enjoy, for example, if you like sports, arts, the universe, etc., or if you need business Spanish or traveling Spanish, we can work with related materials and learn vocabulary. It’s your time and your class! 60 to 90-minute class depending on your availability. I have a Master’s Degree in Education and have taught English as well, therefore I can easily transmit all the knowledge you need in an easy way. I have taught teenagers and adults of all levels and I can assure you’re going to learn fast and will have fun and gain security in the process.

Her materials build on each other and she makes sure to present complex grammar and ideas in different ways so you actually get it right. She is both challenging and encouraging and if you're willing to spend the time and practice, your abilities will definitely improve. She is the best - a great teacher and great company!! Without her lessons, I wouldn't be able to volunteer with Spanish speakers like I do today.
