About Shriya
I am a trained Kathak dancer with a Prabhakar degree from Sangeet Samiti, Prayagraj and a Ratna Bhushan degree from Suro Bharati Kala Kendra, West Bengal. I have over 1 year of teaching experience and currently teach at an institution as well as online. Apart from dance, I also teach all subjects for Classes 1 to 8 (ICSE & CBSE). I believe in making learning simple, enjoyable, and personalized so that every student feels confident and motivated.

My Kathak classes are designed to build a strong foundation while keeping the learning process engaging and enjoyable. I focus on:
• Basic to Advanced Training – Covering tatkaar, footwork, hand movements, abhinaya, chakkars, and storytelling.
• Theory + Practical – Students learn both the dance techniques and the rich cultural background of Kathak.
• Personalized Attention – Each student progresses at their own pace, with step-by-step guidance.
• Performance Skills – Training in stage presence, expression, and confidence building.
• Flexibility – Classes are available online with timings suitable for students in India and abroad.
