General English Lessons: improve your grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, etc.:
In the general lesson type, we can work on many things together. If you need ideas for how to learn or increase your vocabulary, we can talk about where you could do that. Also, if there is a specific topic of grammar that you need to practice, I can explain it to you and show you how and when it is best used. I can give you specific vocabulary that is most useful for what you currently need! This type of lesson is designed however you like! I will include the right combination of oral, aural, vocabulary and grammatical materials, depending exactly on what you need. I am also happy to watch a short video with you, listen to a song or part of a podcast that you enjoy, or read out loud an article that you find interesting. We could do anything!

Business English
Do you often write work emails or memos? Do you need to write a cover letter or resume? Have you a business negotiation coming soon? Do you need to use English to give presentations? Do you need to improve your business vocabulary? Do you need to improve your listening skills when talking to your colleagues? This lesson will improve your speaking, writing and listening to be used in more formal and professional settings! I also recently completed the highly specialised Teaching Business English Certificate with the TEFL Institute of Ireland which has allowed me to fully understand the specific differences between the learning needs of general English students and business English students!

TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge Exam Preparation
This lesson is highly-customized lesson for your exact needs! We will address your specific requirements for test preparation for your TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge English exam. We could look at the sections of the test that you are currently preparing for, and how to make sure you get the best possible score! Also, before the lesson I am happy to provide you with worksheets and other study materials! I have also completed the highly specialised IELTS Preparation Certificate with the TEFL Institute of Ireland which has given me more ideas on how to prepare students for their English exams!

Conversation Practice
Practice conversation with me! We can talk about about any topic that interests you. I can also help with your pronunciation! If you are not sure what you would like to talk about, I can choose something!

Specialised Interview Preperation
Have you an interview for a job or university coming soon? Then this class is for you! We will prepare for all parts of your interview. We will practice how to make small talk at the beginning of the interview. And then we will look at how to answer questions about your previous job experience and résumé! I believe that practice makes perfect when it comes to getting ready for any interview!

Understanding Irish People
Do you work with Irish people? Do you hope to move to Ireland for employment this year? Do you plan on travelling to Ireland on holidays? If yes, then this class is for you! Although Ireland is geographically a small place, it is home to a number of different accents - many of which can be incredibly difficult to understand. In order to improve your understanding of Irish people, we listen to YouTube videos and podcasts featuring people from the different parts of Ireland during this class. We then discuss the videos and examine in detail how many of the words are pronounced differently. We also look at Irish slang words and pronunciation of Irish language names to make sure that you will be able to communicate perfectly with your Irish colleagues or friends!
